Microsoft gets a Patents of Windows 8 Picture Password


Microsoft has received a patent for Windows 8 Picture Password. Picture Password allows Windows 8 users to choose their own pattern, and outlining it in three different shapes (lines, dots and circles) into the operating system.
This new system makes it easy to authenticate holders, plates and other sensory devices, log on to Windows 8. A patent application for this feature was filed in February 2008, but granted it was only this Tuesday. When it became known thatMicrosoft is working on this opportunity for years.
In the description of the patent states that this technology can be used for computer devices, such as a PC or portable electronic devices for user login.
As a password, the user can use any preferred pattern. This feature Microsoft introduced with Windows 8 Developer Preview. From the words of the company, is especially useful for protecting information on devices such as PDA, tablet, Nintendo-DS, etc.
