LG Nitro HD is AT&T's version of the Optimus LTE

Guess who’s going to get the LG Optimus LTE, too? After LG confirmed the deal with Canada’s BellAT&T will join this group, as well. This is far from the final deal, but judging by the press image above, we won’t have to wait for too long to see AT&T officially launching this super-powerful smartphone.
AT&T will call its version LG Nitro HD, but aside from the name change it will be the same phone under the hood. That said, we expect the same 4.5-inch True HD IPS 1280×720 pixels touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity (you know for places where there’s no LTE signal around), Wi-Fi, 8-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera for video calls, GPS,Bluetooth, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of built-in storage that is further expandable with microSD cards. Unfortunately Gingerbread rather than Ice Cream Sandwich is running the show, though I’m sure that will change at some point in early 2012…
